Getaria

The heavy rains of the last few hours have caused landslides at several points, both of which are closed in both directions.

The first anchovy has entered the Basque ports the day after the opening of the coast. For example, 20 tons of anchovy have entered the port of Getaria.

The N-634 road between Zarautz and Getaria (Gipuzkoa) has been opened at 18:15 hours after being closed for almost 24 hours. Heavy rains caused a rock to fall on the safety net yesterday and the  was removed this afternoon with the help of a backhoe.

In Getaria two months ago, a bluefin tuna farm was launched in the sea. About 50 copies were introduced and are being fattened up in a pilot project.

The first 50 grains of bluefin tuna are already in the two cages of Getaria's fattening seafood. The tunnels will be fed with sardines and frozen mackerel until the end of October, and will be sacrificed at the end of that month.
