The works council of Tubos Reunidosde Amurrio has rejected an indefinite strikeand has approved the calendar of mobilizations against the 301 redundancies announced by the company at this plant in Álava and at the Trapagaran factory in Bizkaia.
The Commission took this decision at its meeting this afternoon, following the presentation by Tubos Reunidos of a feasibility plan containing an employment regulation dossier affecting 274 workers at the Alavesa plant, which will suspend steel activity.
They have advanced that the workers have refused to support an indefinite strike, as proposed by the ELA and ESK unions, and have agreed to carry out 15 mobilizations between now and 9 March.
