The Disciplinary Commission has released the insults and threats reported by a minor female judge in Basauri during a territorial football match last weekend in the Soloarte field.
According to the resolution, four playerson the local team have been sanctioned with 4 to 6 games and financial fines, while the coach has received four games and a fine, and the club will have to play three games behind closed doors and face a financial penalty.
The events took place during the match between the Basauri BEA and the Delta Duo, when the visiting team tied in on the extension (3-3). From that moment on, as the arbitrator noted in the record, a number of players, members of the technical corps and fans began to insult and make serious threats.
The woman also reported that after retiring to the locker room, while still threatening, some people tried to enter the locker room.
The case was referred to the Bizkaia Arbitral Commission, which examined what had happened and imposed sanctions on him. Despite what had happened, the young man has expressed his intention to continue arbitrating in subsequent matches.
Basauri BEA apologizes but questions part of the published versions
The group assures that what happened does not reflect their values and argues that it is necessary to clarify what happened by putting all the versions on the table: "What was recorded in the arbitration record and published information is not entirely in line with what happened."
