More than 17,000 students will take the university entrance test, starting on Tuesday, in Hego Euskal Herria
A total of 13,066 students will take the university entrance test from 2 June at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).
In a statement, the UPV/EHU has explained that 12,114 Baccalaureate students and 952 other students who have completed the Higher Degree Training Cycle (Vocational Training) will take the test and 552 students from previous courses will be presented to certain subjects to raise their grades.
The number of students is similar to last year's, when 13,130 students signed up for the exam.
With regard to the distribution of campuses, 1,821 students will be tested on the Álava Campus, 6,505 on the Bizkaia Campus and 4,740 on the Gipuzkoa Campus.
In terms of language, 76.1 per cent of students (9,944 students) will take the test in Basque and 23.9 per cent (3,122) in Spanish.
On the other hand, they will make adaptations for 946 students with special educational needs to take the university entrance test.
As usual, all examinations will be conducted in three daysand will consist of two phases : access phase and approval phase.
The first phase, which will measure the maturity and basic skills of students, consists of five exercises: Spanish Language and Literature; Basque Language and Literature; Spanish History or History of Philosophy; First Foreign Language; and the compulsory subject of Second Baccalaureate.
Students will get between 0 and 10 points per subject, with a maximum of 10 points at this stage.
They'll need at least five points to pass the test.
The admission phase is voluntary, with an additional 4 points. Each student can submit to a maximum of 4 subjects.
Test results will be published onJune10 .
A total of 4,146 students will take the test in Navarre
A total of 4,146 students will be tested on the Arrosadia Campus and the Tudela Campus from 2 to 4 June at the Public University of Navarre.
Of the students enrolled, 2,391 are women and the remaining 1,755 are men, according to the Public University of Navarre.
With regard to the language model, 3,097 students take the test in Spanish and the remaining 1,049 in Basque. The majority of students, 3,406 people, will take the compulsory and voluntary phase, 560 only the voluntary phase and 180 only the compulsory phase.
With regard to examinations, it should be noted that this course has applied easy reading criteria (typography, structure and layout) to almost all exercises. In addition, the cover of the examination booklets has been changed, so these two identifiers must be attached to the skin (and not to the front and back, as before).
The results of the regular call will be available on June 10 and the qualification card will be available from June 17.
For their part, the examinations of the extraordinary call will takeplace on 24, 25 and 26 June , in which case the results will be available on 30 June and the card on 15 July.
