The drowned man has died in La Morea, and the woman remains in critical condition

The 20-year-old man who was rescued from the La Morea pond and was in a very serious condition has died, and the 25-year-old woman who was rescued with him remains in critical condition.

EFE confirmed the news by citing sources from the Department of Health of the Government of Navarre.

Yesterday, while the two young men were bathing in the well of La Morea in Beriain, around 5.28 p.m., bathers noticed that the 20-year-old man was drowning and was rescued from the water by firefighters, who rescued the 25-year-old woman who had sunk into the water.

SOS Navarra reported that both had undergone cardiopulmonary resuscitation exercises and were taken in a medicalized ambulance to the Navarra University Hospital in Pamplona.
