Iran confirms Khamenei's death and promises a major military revenge operation
After nearly 40 years in power, power will now fall to a council headed by President Pezeshkian.
Iran confirmed the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Sunday and promised revenge with a "harsh" sanction, referring to a major military operation against the US and Israel.
