Vitoria-Gasteiz gardeners and company Enviser have brought positions closer together at their last meeting
They had a long meeting in Preco this Thursday, but they came out hopeful. The workers will meet in assembly and the company will hold the relevant consultations with the aim of concluding the agreement at the next meeting.
Representatives of the Vitoria-Gasteiz gardeners and the Enviser company have held a meeting at Preco this Thursday at which they have stated that they have made "significant progress" and that at the next meeting convened for next Monday, "there is a chance " that the agreement will be concluded.
Enviser workers outsourced to maintain gardens, parks and green areas in Vitoria-Gasteiz began a strike on March 26 to demand improvements in their working conditions and wages.
At last Tuesday's meeting in Preco, which was not entirely rejected by the representatives of the workers and the representatives of the company, Iñigo López de Arroyabe of the ESK trade union said that there had been "significant progress" at the meeting held this Thursday and that there were "options" to conclude an agreement in the coming days.
For the time being, the unions have to hold meetings with the workers to explain the options they have at hand.
