Navarre asks the EU for permission to vaccinate 120,000 cattle against nodular dermatosis
Aierdi has explained that in recent days the French Government has detected two new sources of the disease, one of them "in an area close to Navarre".
The Government of Navarre wants to vaccinate all the heads of cattle in the community, some 120,000, against nodular dermatosis as a preventive measure, for which it has asked the Spanish Government to ask the European Union for permission to start vaccination.

They have said that "the reason for this decision is to strengthen prevention, since this month two new spotlights have appeared in France caused by uncontrolled animal movements, one of which is 30 kilometres from Navarre."
