The full scope of Lot 2 includes the CBTC/ATO GoA4 signalling system, electrical substations, catenary, data networks, telecommunications, platform doors and the Operational Control Centre, the supply of the new 100% automatic train fleet, workshop equipment for new warehouses and their comprehensive maintenance.
These subway units, based on CAF's INNEO platform, will consist of three high-capacity cars with a "modern and innovative" interior and exterior design.
The company has stated that this contract is a "new milestone" in its history, as, in addition to its importance as a comprehensive mobility project, it "confirms the company's continued commitment to the railway signal segment."
