One worker has died and another has been injured while building in Urrugne
A construction worker died and another was injured this morning in Urrugne (Lapurdi). The accident took place around 09:15 this morning during the water reservoir work being built next to the road leading to Oleta.
The emergency services that have come to the scene have been unable to do anything to save the dead worker's life. A second worker has been taken by helicopter to the hospital with serious injuries.
The Labour Inspectorate has opened an investigation to determine the causes of the accident.
The workers belong to the company Duhalde and were working under the responsibility of the Euskal Herria Urban College.
