Three more strike days have been called for March in school canteens

The ELA union has reported that a strike has been called for 10, 11 and 12 March in the eskola canteens because "no progress has been made at the negotiating table".

The unions LAB, ELA, CCOO and UGT have called three days of direct management in public school canteens.

In a statement, the unions have announced another three days ofunemployment due to the "blockade" situation  and the "unanswered" demands.

They criticise the fact that wage increases under the CPI are not guaranteed at the negotiating table and proclaim that the conditions of direct management staff must be negotiated 'without any restrictions and without being subject to other agreements'.

They also call on employers to change their attitude and negotiate "seriously" and on the Department of Education to participate in the conflict and assume "responsibility".
