ELA has ensured that the delegates of Reunited Tubes in Trapagaran "no longer represent the union"
The unions represented in the plants of Amurrio and Trapagaran have reacted differently after the rejection of the ERE. ELA and LAB have been proud of the staff and have declared that they continue to fight "defending employment." CC. The case of Tubos Reunidos has created an internal crisis inthe ELA union . contrary to the opinion of the union, the representatives of the Trapagaran plant have been "in favour of the management approach", so ELA has stated in a statement published this Friday 0 that these delegates "no longer represent theunion " .
The union wanted to make it "very clear" that the future of this plant "does not go through redundancies, but through an industrial project that will lead the disastrous management of recent years."
For its part, the LAB union has said that "dignity, coherence and class struggle" have prevailed in this matter in the face of "blackmail, threat, fear and possibility."
The union has pointed out that the company has tried from the outset to "impose its road map without opening a real debate on industrial alternatives." It has also described as "particularly serious" and "irresponsible" statements by Industry Advisor Mikel Jauregiwhen asked "who is the brave man" who invests in Tubos Reunidos.
LAB has called for "unity and mobilization" and recalled the indefinite strike called since Sunday. "The conflict continues because nothing has been resolved and the ERE is a real threat to workers and the industrial future."

CC.O. sources have explained that in Amurrio, unlike in Trapagaran, the final offer of all workers could not be voted on because of "opposition from other unions." "We would have ratified or accepted what would have come out of that General Assembly," they have confirmed.
As the negotiating period has ended without agreement, CC.OO. has stressed that uncertainty prevails among the staff affected by the file because "it is not clear under what conditions s will be released."
Finally, UGT Euskadi wanted to highlight the "enormous effort" made by its representatives in the negotiations to "ensure the future of activity and the maintenance of jobs, betting on giving the staff the last word".
The union has explained that all this has occurred in a context of "logical tension, with situations that have exceeded the limits of respect and disagreement."
However, it states that the trade union representation has acted "taking into account the context and circumstances, trying to convey in the best possible way the will and feeling of the affiliation it represents, as well as the main objective of protecting employment".
