Tubos Reunidos has filed an Employment Regulation File with 285 redundancies
More than 200 workers (152 Amurrio and 53 Trapagaran) have been on voluntary leave, while temporary workers (about 80) will be fired at the end of the month.
Tubos Reunidos presented the Employment Regulation Dossier to the Territorial Delegation for Labour and Social Security on Monday night. According to the documentation provided, 285 people have been dismissed, according to Radio Euskadi.
More than 200 workers will leave on voluntary leave (152 in Amurrio and 53 in Trapagaran). The other 80 are temporary workers who will be laid off at the end of the month, who will be compensated with 33 days per year worked (initially 30 days).
The Employment Regulation Dossier contains an external relocation plan for the persons concerned, which will take effect from 31 March to 30 June 2027. Given the greater number of departures than the places included in the Trapagaran Employment Regulation Dossier, the company will facilitate the preferential return of those who moved from Trapagaran to Amurrio, when the new workforce was changed years ago.
