The High Speed Train Monitoring Committee has agreed to move the maintenance base to Basauri, which will allow the release of approximately 40,000 square metres in the Abando area.

The agreement also includes the transfer of the maintenance base to Basauri, a decision that will allow the removal of an area of approximately 40,000 square metres in the Abando area, a space in which they plan to establish TAV services.
The institutions believe that this formula will make it possible for the high speed to arrive earlier eta to make compatible the future development of the integration of the underground railway in Bilbao, one of the main urban development and mobility projects pending in the Byzantine capital.
