A court in Vitoria-Gasteiz last Tuesday declared seven companies belonging to the Tubos Reunidos Group to be in voluntary competition with creditors and appointed PKF-Attest Concursal as their competition administrator.

The National Securities and Exchange Commission (CNMV) has opened until 1 June the deadline for the nominationof Tubos Reunidos as insolvency administrator of the listed company, whose board of directors agreed on 4 May to request the declaration of a voluntary creditor competition.
A courtin Vitoria-Gasteiz last Tuesday declared the Tubos Reunidos to be in voluntary competition with a group of Z. creditors, and appointed PKF-Attest Concursal S.L.P., a company with an office in the Alavesa capital.
In the case of these seven companies, the creditors of Tubos Reunidos have been called upon to inform theinsolvency administration of their claims.
The exception is the head of the group, Tubos Reunidos S.A., which is listed on the stock exchange, so the court asked the CNMV for a trio of bidding administrators to be appointed by the commercial judge.
In response to this request, the National Securities and Exchange Commission announced on Thursday in a statement that it has initiated proceedings and opened a deadline until 1 June for those wishing to be appointed to that trio to submit their declarations of interest, and the judge will decide which of them will act as bidders.
