The unions represented by the entertainment technicians have called strikes on 5, 14 and 26 August, coinciding with the festivities of the three capitals, supported by the Txosnas Commission of Vitoria-Gasteiz, the Pirates of San Sebastián and Bilboko Konpartsak.
The unions ESK, LAB, UGT, CCOO, ELA and CNT have reported that they have called for the strike to denounce the "lack of progress "in improving working conditions in the sector.
Trade unions have denounced the "neglect" of EUKI employers in this negotiation, which "clashes with the strength and unity" of workers in this conflict.
Therefore, the first stoppage will take place on 5 August at the Vitoria-Gasteiz festivities; the second on 14 August at the Big Donostiarra Week; and the third on 26 August at the Bilbao Festival.
They have ensured that their struggle "continues to add support" and, in particular, the supportof Bilboko Konpartsak, the Donostia Pirates and the Vitoria-Gasteiz Txosna Board, which "know firsthand the problems and precariousness of the sector".
"This support shows that in order to defend decent holidays it is essential to defend the rights ofworkers, because culture cannot be synonymous with exploitation, "they have reflected.
They have also warned that they will continue this fight "as long as companies do not act reasonably and decide to resume talks to ensure decent conditions for workers."
