An incident in the batteries produced by the company Mobis, located in the Transport City of Noain, has disrupted the production of the Volkswagen electric models in Navarre, Škoda Epiq and ID.Cross, since this Thursday.
According to the company, this type of incident is common with new models until the plant's' start-up curve 'is completed. "You ask suppliers for new parts, and in manufacturing processes there are always ups and downs," they said.
In this regard, they explained that Movis has already identified and solved the problem and is producing normally, "so the production of electric models will resume immediately."
The ELA representative at Volkswagen Navarra, Igor Peñalver, has explained that this is a "normal situation" and that they have already experienced similar situations in the start-up of other models.
