Tubes Reunited will analyze from today the offers received to buy the group and select the top five

Tubos Reunidos will examine from today the offers receivedfor thepurchase of the group , from which it will choosethe top five, according to sources from this company, which is in competition with creditors.

The deadline for bidding was yesterday, and initially14 companies   showed interest in submitting an offer for the purchase of Tubos Reunion, although it has not been revealed how many have finally made the bid.

However, these 14 companies that showed interest have received information about Tubos Reunidos in recent months, visited factories and held meetings with management and trade unions.

As I said, the deadline for submitting proposals was yesterday, when the envelopes containing offers from potential buyers were opened before a notary.

For the time being, the total number of bids has not been revealed, but it is knownthat  is more than five, since these sources have confirmed that of all the bids received, only five will be transferred to the next phase.

The company does not even clarify whether there are offers for the whole group or whether they are specific offers to each plant, apparently the factory in Trapagaran (Bizkaia) has aroused more interest than that in Amurrio.
