Most students pass the university entrance test, almost 97% in the ACV and almost 98% in Navarre

In the Basque Autonomous Community (CAV), 96.74% of students have passed the new university access selective test (USaP), almost below last year's 98.
The students faced a new model, which has been reflected in the notes according to the correctors. Among other things, new criteria have been applied to correct spelling, and the exams have been longer.
According to the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV/EHU) in a note, 11,896 students out of 12,297 in the Baccalaureate of the Basque Country passed the test. Of the total number of students, 9,621 took the test in Basque (9,400 have passed the test).
UPV/EHU has specified that students have been able to consult their grades today and that the final results of the tests will be published on 23 June .
Those who have not passed the examination may apply for an extraordinary call on 1, 2 and 3 July .
The new selective test consists of two phases : the entry phase, which must be completed by the students of the Baccalaureate in order to be able to access the official university teaching of the degree, and the voluntary admission phase, which makes it possible to improve the qualification obtained at the access stage, so that 853 students of the higher education cycle were enrolled in the tests of the subjects of the admission phase.
Specificallyin Navarre 97.92% of the students presented have passed the test in the first call of this course 2024-2025, while last year 98.41% of the students enrolled passed the test.
Of the 3,423 students enrolled in the compulsory phase, 71 have not passed and 12 have not applied, while last year there were 7 who did not.
According to the language profiles, 2,594 of the 2,605 students enrolled in Models G and A (Spanish) were presented in the mandatory phase, exceeding 2,541, i.e. 97.96% (last year 98.31%). On the other hand, of the 818 students enrolled in Model D in the same phase, 1 has not been presented and 799% have exceeded, i.e. 97.8% last year.
In the voluntary phase, a total of 8,595 examinations were prepared. Finally, 1,651 students did not take the tests. A total of 5,119 ( 73.72%) have passed the test and 1,825 ( 26.28%) have not passed the test.
A total of 3,945 students were enrolled in the tests, of whom 522 were enrolled only on a voluntary basis.
