Yellow warning from 13:00 in the ACV for rainfall
The Department of Safety and Security will activate the yellowwarning for heavy rainfall this Wednesday, which could exceed 15 litres per square metre in an hour.
According to the forecasts of theBasque Meteorology Agency, Euskalmet, from 13:00 the showers can be moderate, stormy and very strong, especially on the eastern side of the Cantabrian.
Precipitation may be accompanied by hail (2-4 cm) and strong or very strong winds (60-90 km/h).
Floods and material damage, especially in Bizkaia
A heavy storm hit much of the Basque Country yesterday evening, leaving major incidents at various points in Bizkaia, marked by floods, damage to infrastructure and the cancellation of various festive events.
