A drug trafficking network has been dismantled in Pamplona and 18 people have been arrested
According to the police, within a few days of the San Fermín holidays, 10 drug sales points have been dismantled in Pamplona, Barañáin, Orkoien, Ansoáin and Jaca.

The Pamplona National Police and the Pamplona Municipal Police have arrested 18 persons accused of being part of a drug trafficking network in the Pamplona region.
The detainees had a hierarchical structure and each had a different task. Apparently, they received the substances narcotics from different parts of Spain and then divided them into 10 points in the Navarre capital and its surroundings.
The first phase of the operation began on 2 June, and 10 searches were carried out by agents in homes, storage rooms and commercial premises in Pamplona, Orkoien and Barañáin; nine men and two women were arrested.
Four days later, more searches were carried out in Pamplona, Ansoáin and Jaca (Huesca), and five other men and two women were arrested.
In general, 1,126 grams of cocaine, 52,000 euros in cash and 1,200 grams of gold have been seized, as well as various elements of counterfeiting, handling and drug distribution.
With this operation, the police have indicated that they have managed to dismantle at least 10 pointsofsale of the drug in the run-up to the San Fermín festivities. The detainees are brought before the court on charges of drug trafficking and membership in a criminal organization.
