A woman's body has been found in a rural area of Vitoria-Gasteiz

The body of a woman was found yesterday by a farmerin the rural area of Uskerra-Lasarte de Asteiz , and according to the first investigations, it may be that of a woman who has been missing since the end of May in the Alavesa capital.

After receiving the warning, the officers who came to the scene and the emergency services confirmed that it was a woman's body. 

The Ertzaintza has opened an investigation to clarify what happened. The body has been handed over to the Basque Institute of Legal Medicine for an autopsy .
