The National Police has arrested in Seville a man suspected of killing a woman whose body was found this Sunday in the Valdezorras neighbourhood of Seville and is being investigated as a possible case of male violence.
The woman was 47 years old, and it was apparently her partner, the man who has been arrested, who alerted the emergency services, who was found dead on arrival at the house with signs of violence.
According to the National Police, he was informed of the death of a woman in Valdezorras, and the officers confirmed the existence of a body and arrested a man.
According to a police statement, the investigation remains open and no hypotheses are ruled out.
Valdezorras is a suburb of Seville, north of the city, near the airport.
If the macho nature of this crime were confirmed, there would be 27 victims of male violence in the Spanish state this year.
