A couple has been arrested in Beasain for stealing a van and assaulting agents
The couple stole a work van in Beasain and then collided with several parked vehicles, and the woman attacked the ertzainas who came to arrest them.
The Ertzaintza has arrested in Beasain a 21-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman accused of stealing a van. The woman has been arrested for assaulting the Ertzainas and the man for stealing the vehicle.
According to the Department of Safety and Security, the events took place around 08:30 on Wednesday, when a neighbor reported that his work van had disappeared from where it was parked.
Thanks to the device's GPS device, the vehicle was located about a mile from the scene of the robbery.
The van was in a pine tree, on the edge of a hillside, with the engine running and a broken wheel. Pabs were in the back seats, and when identified, the woman rushed over the agents , so she was arrested for an attack on the agents, while the man was arrested for stealing the vehicle.
