Two men arrested in Azkoitia for sexual assault and illegal detention
Agents of the Ertzaintza have arrested two men for their alleged connection to the sexual assault, illegal detention and injuries suffered by a man in a home in Azkoitia earlier this week.
Last Tuesday, a man came to the police station to report that he had been the victim of a sexual assault and had been arrested illegally.
He reported that the events took place on Monday afternoon, 15 September, in a home in Azkoitia, where he was held against his will and physically and sexually assaulted, a crime in which three men were allegedly involved and in which the aggressor's head is the current partner of the victim's former partner.
Two people have been arrested and investigations are under way to locate and arrest the third suspect.
The detainees are a 33-year-old man (head of the attack) and a 25-year-old man with a police record, both of whom were taken to court on Thursday morning.
