The Court of Bizkaia has sentenced a football coach from Barakaldo to three years' imprisonment for sexually assaulting four players between the ages of 14 and 15 . Bizkaia Court Section Six has sentenced this man who had beenon the football team\u00A0for sexual assault onminors for 20 years.\u00A0
The court has also prohibited him from working with minors and from approaching and communicating with victims less than 100 metres away.
According to the facts proven in the July 11 judgment, between September 2023 and April 2024, the defendant trained a women's team, and "with the intention of satisfying his wish, the sex of three minors in the group was released.
According to the court, he made sexual touches and comments to minors, showed them his genitals and kissed one of them while he was asleep.
The judgement may now be appealed to the High Court of Justice of the Basque Country.
