Plataforma berria sortuko da, hain zuzen ere, Eusko Jaurlaritzako Osasun Sailaren 2025-2030 aldirako Euskadiko Onkologia Plan Integralaren barruan. Saiakuntza kliniko gehiago eta gaixoen parte hartzea handitzea da helburua, "aukera berdintasuna" bermatuz.

Alberto Martinez Eusko Jaurlaritzako Osasun sailburuak iragarri du Onkologiako Saiakuntza eta Ikerketa Proiektuen Plataforma Bakarra martxan jarriko dela Euskadin. Horren esanetan, "urrats aitzindaria" izango da, besteak beste, balioko duelako gaixoek EAEn eskuragarri dauden saiakuntza klinikoetarako sarbidea izateko, baliabideak erakartzeko eta sistemak minbiziaren aurkako borrokan duen gaitasuna indartzeko.
Martinezek azaldu duenez, plataforma berria sortuko da Eusko Jaurlaritzako Osasun Sailaren 2025-2030 aldirako Euskadiko Onkologia Plan Integralaren barruan —2025-2030 Euskadiko Onkologia Plan Integrala datorren urriaren 17an aurkeztuko zaie ofizialki osasunaren arloko profesionalei, elkarteei eta eragileei—.
"Ikerketa gehiago egiteak osasun gehiago eta hobea esan nahi du, aukera gehiago eta itxaropen handiagoa pazienteentzat".

Plataforma hau Euskadiko ikerketa sanitarioko ildo nagusiaren esparruan sortu da, onkologian zentratuta. Gaur egun, 140 ikerketa proiektu aktibo daude Euskadin, eta minbiziarekin lotutako saiakuntza klinikoetan parte hartzen duten 12 000 paziente baino gehiago. Orain, saiakuntza kliniko gehiago eta parte hartzen duten pertsona gehiago izatea da helburua, aukera berdintasuna, terapia berritzaileetarako sarbidea eta datuen kudeaketa aurreratua bermatuz.
Tresna berri horren aurkezpena, onkologian erreferentzia diren Europako adituen taldearen hirugarren eta azken bisitan egin da. Elkarrekin urtebetez lan egin dute, Osakidetzako profesionalei, Osasun Saileko Osasun Ikerketa Institutuei eta pazienteen elkarteei lagunduz 2025-2030 aldirako Euskadiko Onkologia Plan Integrala prestatzen eta hobetzen.
