This Monday children from Gaza with serious illnesses arrive in Hego Euskal Herria

19 seriously ill Gazatese children will arrive this Monday morning at the airbase of Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid), where minors have been transported on two planes on amissionby the World Health Organization and Médecins sans Frontières with the Spanish Ministry of Health .

The sick children and the 73 people who come with them have been taken to the Israeli-Jordan border and handed over by the Israeli authorities to a team from the Spanish Ministry of Health. s Médecins sans Monde have coordinated the transfer to the Amman base, as well as the medical examinations of children.

Theyare traumatology, oncology, and hematology  patients with congenital heart disease and mental, kidney, eye, and gastrointestinal conditions.

The Spanish Government carried out a similar operation this summer, in which 13 Gazatese children were taken for treatment.
