After the investigation into Maialen Mazon's murder, the defendant is asked for 45 years in prison

The head of the Women's Violence Court in Vitoria-Gasteiz has completed the investigation of the casefor the murder of Maialen Mazon,who on 27 May 2023 was allegedly stabbed to death by his former partner in a 33-year-old Vitorian apartment in the Alavesa capital.
The victim was pregnant with twins at the time of the murder, and the attack took placein frontof her two-year-old daughter .
His alleged murderer, Jaime Roca, a 33-year-old Valencian, wasarrested thefollowing day at a toll in Zaragoza while trying to flee by taxi to Valencia.
