A woman who has been in the ICU for three days after being beaten by her partner has died in Catarroja
The alleged perpetrator of the attack was arrested and released by the judge on Tuesday with precautionary measures; hours after the decision, the woman died of irreversible injuries.
A 50-year-old woman died in Valencia as a result of a brutal beating allegedly inflicted by her partner.
The attack took place on the night of Friday to Saturday in the house shared by the victim and the alleged aggressor in the Valencian municipality of Catarroja.
The woman was brutally beaten and taken to La Fe University Hospital in Valencia, where she has been in a coma for three days and has finally died.
Her 49-year-old partner, who was arrested by Alfafar Judicial Police officers following the attack, was taken to court yesterday and released by the judge with a precautionary restraining measure, at which point the woman was still alive.
The Civil Guard keeps an open investigation into the attack.
