Two men arrested in Bilbao for attempting to steal from a restaurant and a hairdresser
The Ertzaintza has arrested "in fraganti" two men in Bilbao who were robbing two establishments, the first with the coffers of a restaurant and the second inside a hairdresser's shop.
The first robbery took place at 00:38 today, Thursday, when a neighbor warned of the presence of a young man trying to open the door to several establishments in the Abando district of Bilbao.
The Ertzainas have located the alleged perpetrator, a 23-year-old male, among garbage containers with the coffers of a nearby restaurant, and have arrested him on charges of robbery with force.
The second robbery took place at 03:27 in a hairdresser's shop in the Abando neighbourhood, and the Ertzaintza was asked to come to the premises after the intrusion alarm was activated.
Police have found forced access to the facility, including a 30-year-old man who has been arrested on charges of robbery with force.
The two detainees, who have a police record for this type of incident, remain in police custody until they are brought before the court.
