Two minors have been sentenced to a closed regime for attempting to kill another minor in San Sebastian
These two minors and two adults, who will be tried in March, attempted to stab a minor on 13 March because the victim "tried to hook up" with one of them's girlfriend at school.
The judge has sentenced two minors to two years and a half years' imprisonment for attempting to kill another minor in Donostia-San Sebastián on 13 March 2025, when he left his school.
In a hood, the first minor has been punished as the material perpetrator of the attempted murder, and the second as the necessary co-operative.
The sentence is final and there can be no appeal after the boys bihave acknowledged the facts and obtained agreement with the Public Prosecutor's Office .
They will ask for 12 years in prison for both adults
Two adults are also involved in the case and will be tried in March.
According to the Public Prosecutor's Office's indictment, 15 days before the attack, a girl told her boyfriend, one of the adults who will be tried, that a classmate was "trying to hook up" with her.
The couple, trying to get revenge, decided to kill the boy and planned the attack with two people, one of them a minor, covering his head and using latex gloves and a kitchen knife.
On 12 March, the four involved approached the victim's school and, after finishing their classes, surprised the minor, trying to stick the knife in his neck.
Fortunately, the victim managed to protect himself with his arm and suffered no serious injuries but suffered injuries to the shoulder and waist.
Although wounded, the victim managed to escape.
