A man has been arrested in Toulouse on charges of sexually assaulting a woman who offered to work in a hairdresser's shop
On Monday, 16 February, the victim filed a complaint with the Ertzaintza, and on Tuesday the alleged aggressor was arrested.
The Ertzaintza has arrested in Toulouse a 38-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a hairdresser's shop in this town, who had previously been offered a cleaning job.
According to the Basque Government's Department of Security, the events began in early January in Irun, whenthe man offered a job as a cleaner at a hairdresser's shop in Toulouse to a 44-year-old woman.
After negotiating working conditions, the man offered to take the woman to the establishment, where he sexually assaultedher and coerced her to silence her.
On 16 February, the victim filed a complaint with the Ertzaintza, and a day later the man was arrested in the Rondilla neighbourhoodof Toulouse on charges of sexual assault.
The detainee, after being transferred to police stations, was taken to court today, Wednesday.
