The feminist groups Basauri's Feminist Assembly and Emakume eok bat have called for a rally on Friday afternoon, at 6:30 p.m., in November 25 Square, to publicly express their "anger and pain" at the fact that the municipality is investigating whether the death of a woman was a murder related to gender-based violence.

The feminist movement has stressed that these crimes are the result of a system that perpetuates inequality, control and dehumanization of women.
According to them, male violence "is not a private or isolated issue", but a structural reality that requires a comprehensive response. In this regard, organizations have been asked for more specific implications and resources : prevention and protection policies, coordination, training, housing, decent care and a real feminist response.
They have also criticized the lack of symbolic responses , such as one-minute silences, and have called for effective measuresto ensure the safety and freedom of women, including the introduction of feminist education from childhood and the development of coordinated public policies against all forms of male violence.
Thus, in the face of this new macho murder, the Feminist Assembly of Asauri and Coordinator Emakumeok Bat have asked citizens to take to the streets and express their rejection of , ensuring that social mobilization "in the face of macho terrorism" is a fundamental tool.
The feminist protest aims to highlight the gravity ofthe situation and strengthen the demand for structural changes .
