The Bizkaia Arbitration Commission has lifted the veto imposed on the Basauri and Portugalete football teams
In a statement, the Bizkaia Arbitral Commission has stated that the situation has been "rectified" by the commitment of the clubs to "take action" to prevent the recurrence of attacks, which will result in the reappointment of judges for the next matches of Basauri Bea and Portugalete. However, the veto for the third group involved (Karabigane de Berango) will remain in force.

The Bizkaia Arbitral Board has lifted the veto imposed on the Basauri Bea and Portugalete football teams, which decided not to appoint judges for the matches of these clubs as a result of the attacks on the referees in several of these clubs.
In a statement, the Commission has stated that, after meeting with both clubs, "the situation is on track "and that football teams have undertaken to" take steps to prevent repeated attacks on collegiates ".
However, the veto is maintained for the third team involved, the Karabigan of Berango, as this club has not contacted the judges.
The Commission has warned that it will reapply this veto protocol in the eventof further attacks on arbitrators.
