The popular jury charged with trying the death of Lukas Aguirre, who was stabbed to death on Christmas Day 2022 during a quarrel outside a discotheque in the centre of San Sebastián, has found the two men accused of the crime guilty of murder, one of them as material author and the second as necessary co-operative.
However, jurors have seen a drug-use mitigating factor for the main defendant. In the case of the second defendant, they have decided on a possible change in criminal liability for double mental disorder and drug use.
The third defendant has also been found guilty of concealing the two accused, albeit with the attenuation of drug dependence.
