The Council's latest call to fill the streets of Pamplona with Euskaltzales on Saturday
The Euskera has an important date next Saturday in Pamplona. The Euskaltzaleon March is coming strongly, at least as announced by the organizers. With the presentation of banners and props, Kontseilua has made a final appeal to fill Iruñea with Euskaltzales.
It is precisely today that they announce the designs and authors of the banners of the three columns that will tour the streets of the Navarre capital, so that at the beginning of the columns three groups of civil society will launch the props and the blow shot: the Azterketa Euskaraz movement, the creative content in Euskera, and the motor group of Batuz Aldatu.
Each of the banners presented today will represent one of the three proclamations of the March. They have been made by well-known Basque illustrators. The first banner, which calls for the full officiality of the Basque Country, is the work of comic book artist Patxi Huarte Zaldieroa. Unternational banner proclaims the need to make the leap in language policies through images of Asisko Urmeneta.\The third banner emphasizes the need to bring Euskaltzalism to the first line, and is the work of illustrator Malen Amenabar.
On the other hand, the Council has announced the three groups that will be reading the props at the beginning of each column that will depart at 5 p.m. from the Runa Park, Antoniutti and Plaza de la Libertad, in order to recognize, protect and encourage their work from the social partners.
Instructions
At 5 p.m. the pillars of the Euskaltzale March will be formed. In order to ensure that the composition of the columns is as balanced as possible, the Council has defined three criteria: the citizens who are already in Pamplona will meet in the Runa Park, those who arrive by car in Antoniutti, and those who arrive by bus from the villages in Liberty Square.
After the props and suckers, the columns will march behind banners and charangas ina festive and vindictive atmosphere to merge into the Castle Square, where the Euskaltzale March will combine proclamation and pride.
After the arrival of the three columns in the Plaza del Castillo, the main eventwill take place there. And as the end of the Euskaltzale March, the proposal is for everyone gathered in the square to dance. In addition to the afternoon mobilization, there will be various activities throughout the morning through Pamplona.
Programme
Starting at 11:00 in the morning, there will be a children's space in Santa Ana Square, with the performance of the clowns Porrotx eta Zapotxin, followed by the Dindaiakale games.
