A worker died this morning in a work-related accident at a company in the Areta district of Llodio, called Vibrantz, in the industrial paints sector.
According to the Department of Safety and Security, the incident appears to have been caused by an explosion in an oven around 00:30.
Fire brigade personnel have moved to the scene, as well as technicians from the Basque Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (Osalan), who are investigating the causes of the accident.
