A 44-year-old carrier dies in an accident with another truck in Murchant
The accident took place at the AP-68, where workers were unable to do anything to save the life of the deceased and another 41-year-old carrier was injured in the accident.
The accident happened on Tuesday afternoon. SOS Navarra 112 received the telephone call at 7.23 p.m., and Tudela and Peralta firefighters, two advanced life support ambulances, two other basic ambulances and patrols of the Foral Police and the Civil Guard have moved to the site.
A trailer truck in the direction of Zaragoza has left the track and collided with a truck in the direction of Logroño.
Emergency services couldn't do anything to save the trailer driver's life. The 44-year-old man died at the scene. On the other hand, the driver of the vehicle, a 41-year-old male, has been slightly injured and taken to Reina Sofia Hospital in Tudela in a medicalized ambulance.
The body of the deceased will be autopsy at the Navarro Institute of Legal Medicine. Foral Police have opened an investigation to determine the causes of the accident.
