The UPV will meet with the Basque Government to agree on how to comply with the court ruling on zeros
The Basque Government has asked the UPV/EHU to temporarily increase the number of places for the 2026-2027 school year.
The UPV/EHU has announced that it will hold an emergency meeting this Tuesday afternoon with the Minister of Science, Universities and Innovation of the Basque Government, Juan Ignacio Pérez Iglesias, whose aim will be to agree on "an agreed formula of action" to comply with the judicial decision relating to the "zeros" dispute.
For her part, the spokeswoman for the Basque Government, María Ubarretxena, has asked the UPV/EHU to consider a temporary increase in the number of places in the 2026-2027 school year, so that the precautionary measures issued by various courts do not affect students wishing to pursue their undergraduate studies at the Basque university.
