The defendants facilitated the fraudulent processing of the files by circumventing the legally established administrative procedure and keeping secret that they did not comply with their requests.
The investigators managed to document the meetings of those involved in bars, cars or places of worship, allowing four searches to be carried out in homes in the Navarre towns of Tiebas and Pamplona, and a fifth in the Single Aliens Office of Navarre, the work centre of one of the detainees , where computer equipment and various documentation of interest to the investigation were seized.
After being brought before the court, he has ordered four of the five persons involved to be placed in pre-trial detention, allowing two of them to evade prison on bail of 5,000 euros, while the fifth suspect has been provisionally released with precautionary measures.
