Neighbourhood associations suspend anti-migrant protests in Ceuta
A protest demonstration against the management of the Espaia government had been called for Saturday night, but it was suspended after the arrival of "ultras groups".

Ceuta residents have suspended protests this weekend z after pastdays of anti-migrant violence .
Following the entry of thousands of migrants from Morocco a month ago, Ceuta has experienced great tension in recent weeks, and popular anger and unrest have increased in recent days.
In response to recent protests that have been used by some to spread racist messages and carry out attacks, neighborhood associations have temporarily suspended proteststo"prevent racist messages from gaining strength." In fact, these associations have stressed that Ceuta has historically been an "intercultural meeting place."
When the demonstration on Friday, for example, reached the vicinity of the CETI and the nearby beach of Benítez, the cries of "We are not racist, we are realistic" were heard, once they reached the police cord but at the end of the march, between neighbours and journalists who experienced moments of tension, as some citizens rushed at journalists.
During these protests,messageswere also heard from far-right groups and, in order to prevent the atmosphere from deteriorating further, neighbourhood associations have decided to let the weekend pass in order to calm the mood.
Suspended demonstration scheduled for Saturday night due to the arrival of far-right groups
In particular, a demonstration had been called for tonight to protest against the management of the Spanish Government, which has been suspended after the arrival of "ultras groups" in the city. The organizers have announced the cancellationof the demonstration due to the possible presence of "violent incitement groups" .
The organizers have denied any association with groups promoting "violence, hatred or racism" and have denounced the presence of far-right groups as tarnishing the nature of their claims.
"We want to make it very clear that we will not support any group that incites violence, hatred or racism in our city," the organizers said in a statement.
They have insisted that the protests should be conducted in a packaged manner, as one with carnations .
