According to the police in a statement, this organisation also allowed migrants to enter the peninsula illegally if they paid 6,000 euros.
Aware of the massive influx of migrants back and forth in a community garage, several residents alerted the police, and it was then that the officers began their investigation. Apparently, they slept on the ground in parking areas.
According to evidence gathered duringthe investigation, migrants were offered garage spaces, storage rooms or other spaces that were not fit to sleep for 30 euros a day.
At some point, in the same parking lot, about 20 peoplejoined, according to the police.
On the other hand, migrants were charged between EUR 5 and 10 for charging mobile phones.
According to the testimonies collected, they were also threatened with death so that they could keep quiet about what was happening and not tell the police anything.
