U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that they know where Iran's supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, is hiding, but has stressed that Washington willnot eliminate him "for now. "
"We know where the so-called 'supreme leader' is. It's an easy target, but it's safe. We're not going to (kill) him, at least not for now, but we don't want him to launch missiles at civilians or American soldiers. Our patience is running out."
Trump has urged Iran to "surrender unconditionally," and has declared that the US has "full control of Iran's sky," following the wave of bombings launched last week by the Israeli army, which, according to Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, has destroyed many missile launchers in Tehran and half of the drones.
"We now have complete control of the skies in Iran, which had good air detectors and other defence equipment, and many, but cannot be compared to those that have been manufactured, invented and manufactured in theUnited States. No one does better than the United States, "he said.
