Flotilla Sumud has reported "at least 13 explosions" and discontinuous communications
The international flotilla has claimed that these are "psychological operations" aimed at stopping navigation and that the presence of drones is intended to "intimidate and gather intelligence for Israel".
The Global Sumud Flotilla, a humanitarian initiative to break the Israeli blockade of Gaza, has reported "at least 13 explosions" and unidentified drone flights, as well as "communications interference".
The organization has reported in an official Telegram account that the explosions were heard "on several Flotilla ships and in the vicinity" and that many crew members have seen "objects fired from drones or aircraft at at least ten ships, causing damage".
The International Flotilla had previously reported "more than 15 drones" on board the Alma, the same vessel that was "attacked" during the stopover in Tunisia.
"There have been no casualties, the extent of the damage will be fully assessed in broad daylight," the statement adds.
The international flotilla has described these as "psychological operations" aimed at stopping navigation, and the presence of drones is intended to "intimidate and gather intelligence for Israel."
Israel has recently condemned attempts to "criminalize" the naval mission as a "jihadist initiative" supported by the Islamist Hamas group.
The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has warned that the flotilla must dock in Israeli ports instead of transferring humanitarian aid to the Palestinian strip.
The mission has rejected any charges and stressed "the right to assist, protect volunteers and resist the siege."
The flotilla consists of 51 ships, according to the search page of the flotilla, including the six robberies in Greece, which are expected to join the delegations that left Spain, Tunisia and Italy, all together to follow the route to Gaza.
