Flotilla. Basque activists leave Israel
The four Basque activists are already in Athens waiting to take the flight to Bilbao, which is expected to land in Bilbao around 23:14 this very Monday.
Four Basque activists from the Global Sumud Flotilla have left Tel Aviv after being arrested on their way to the Gaza Strip.
Together with them, the last citizens of Spanish nationality shall return to their countries of origin, except one detained for biting an official.
Until today, 23 Spaniards and 4 Basques were in Israeli custody, as a member of the Spanish group is accused of biting an official in Ktziot prison.
The Israeli police have therefore confirmed that the latter will remain in custody, claiming that the prison worker is lightly injured.
According to reports from the Global Sumud Flotilla, the 27 are in Athens jada, from where they will travel to their countries of origin.
Four Basques will take the flight to Bilbao at 8.30 p.m. and are expected to arrive at 11.14 p.m.
