Israel has returned 15 bodies after receiving the body of a soldier, while more than 69,000 people have already died in Gaza
The exchange of bodies is taking place in an enclave full of destruction, as hospitals are collecting bodies in a disastrous state, where families must identify their dead, while the Israeli army has killed two other Palestinians, claiming that they have crossed the "yellow line."
The Nasser Hospital in Jan Yunis, one of the largest in the Gaza Strip, received the bodiesof 15 other Palestinians this Saturday, while the Palestinians handed over another Israeli body to the Red Cross.
With the exchange, there are already 300 bodies collected by Gaza, but only 89 have been identified.
The health authorities in Gaza have reported that many of the bodies show signs of torture, handcuffed or blindfolded, which makes it even more difficult to identify the bodies.
Meanwhile, the PalestinianMinistry of Health has raised the death toll to more than 69,000since the Israeli offensive began this Saturday, where 300 other bodies buried in Gaza have been found.
On the other hand, the IsraeliGo Army has acknowledged that two other Palestinians have been killed. The Army has argued that the victims crossed the so-called "yellow line" , that is, the border that marks the ceasefire. Indeed, Israeli troops have described these crossings as an "immediate threat" and have therefore fired without prior warning.
Since the ceasefire agreement, there have been more than 240 deaths.
Hamas, however, has announced that it has found the body of an Israeli soldier who has been missing since 2014, which, along with six other unidentified bodies, could open a new phase in the exchange of bodies between Israel and Palestine.
