Israel has killed at least 366 people in Gaza since Donald Trump's peace proposal and ceasefire came into force, according to information released this Thursday by the Gaza Ministry of Health.
The Ministry has indicated that hospitals in the Strip received the bodies of eight dead on Wednesday, six of whom were killed during the day and recovered from the two rubble, and that a total of 938 people have been injured since the ceasefire entered into force on 10 October.
Israel continues to control 54% of the Gaza Strip following the withdrawal of its troops to the so-called 'yellow line' border, from which they continue to fire almost daily at the Palestinians, claiming that they are getting too close. Indeed, a large part of the Gazatis do not know these borders and are moving closer to their homes or looking for food.
On the other hand, the Civil Defense rescue teams have recovered 619 bodies from the rubble, according to the most recent count. Eighty percent of the buildings in Gaza are completely destroyed and turned into piles of stones.
The Palestinian authorities have stressed that there are still thousands of bodies trapped in the rubble and that rescue work is limited due to the scarcity of resources such as heavy machinery and fuel.
In total, since Israel began its offensive on Gaza in response to the Hamas attacks of 7 October 2023, 70,125 Palestinians have been killed and 171,015 injured in the attacks, many with life-long amputations and injuries.
