Iran has pledged not to manufacture nuclear weapons and has called for the lifting of all sanctions against it and the creation of a fund to compensate for the damage suffered. These are some of the points of Tehran's plan to negotiate an end to the war with the US.
Iran has presented a ten-point plan to negotiate an end to the war with the United States, within the framework of bilateral contacts in Islamabad following Washington's announcement of a two-week ceasefire.
These are the ten points of the plan presented by the Islamic Republic:
1. Total cessation of any offensive against Iran and allied resistance groups.
2. The withdrawal of US combat forces from the region, the prohibition of any attack from bases against Iran and the non-adoption of offensive military deployment.
3. Daily, for two weeks, the restricted transit of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, under a safe passage protocol, supervised and regulated by Iran.
4. Abolish all primary and secondary sanctions and those imposed by the UN against Iran.
5. Compensation for damage suffered by Iran through the creation of an investment and financial fund.
6. Iran undertakes not to manufacture nuclear weapons
7. Recognition by the United States of Iran's right to enrich uranium and negotiation on the level of wealth.
8. Allow Iran, in accordance with its interests, to negotiate bilateral peace agreements and multilateral agreements with the countries of the region.
9. Extend the principle of non-aggression to all actors who have attacked resistance groups.
10. Finalize all resolutions of the Board of Governors (International Atomic Energy Agency, EANA) and the Security Council (UN), and adopt all commitments in an official UN resolution.
