The United Kingdom Maritime Operations Organization (UKMTO) has reported that several ships have beenattacked in the Strait of Hormuz, with increasing activity in the area.
The British organisation has warned that there is "intense activity" in the area and has urged ships on board to exercise extreme caution and report any suspicious movements.
